فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

Fabiayyi alai rabbikuma tukaththibani

So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنٖ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

Waallatheena yaqooloona rabbana hab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatina qurrata aAAyunin waijAAalna lilmuttaqeena imaman

Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us a leader for the righteous.

۞قُلۡ يَٰعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡرَفُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُواْ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Qul ya AAibadiya allatheena asrafoo AAala anfusihim la taqnatoo min rahmati Allahi inna Allaha yaghfiru alththunooba jameeAAan innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemu

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

مَنْ لَا يَشْكُرِ النَّاسَ لَا يَشْكُرِ اللَّهَ

Man lā yashkurin-nāsa lā yashkuri llāh

Whoever is not grateful to people is not grateful to Allah.

أَصْـبَحْنا وَأَصْـبَحَ المُـلْكُ لله وَالحَمدُ لله ، لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّهُ وَحدَهُ لا شَريكَ لهُ، لهُ المُـلكُ ولهُ الحَمْـد، وهُوَ على كلّ شَيءٍ قدير ، رَبِّ أسْـأَلُـكَ خَـيرَ ما في هـذا اليوم وَخَـيرَ ما بَعْـدَه ، وَأَعـوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَـرِّ ما في هـذا اليوم وَشَرِّ ما بَعْـدَه، رَبِّ أَعـوذُبِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَـلِ وَسـوءِ الْكِـبَر ، رَبِّ أَعـوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَـذابٍ في النّـارِ وَعَـذابٍ في القَـبْر.

Allāhumma laka al-ḥamdu anta qayyimus-samāwāti wal-arḍi wa man fīhinna...

O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You are the Maintainer of the heavens and the earth and whoever is within them...

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo istaAAeenoo bialssabri waalssalati inna Allaha maAAa alssabireena

O believers, seek strength through patience and prayer. Certainly Allah is with those who are patient.

لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرٗا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَىٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

La yukallifu Allahu nafsan illa wusAAaha laha ma kasabat waAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana la tuakhithna in naseena aw akhtana rabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isran kama hamaltahu AAala allatheena min qablina rabbana wala tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bihi waoAAfu AAanna waighfir lana wairhamna anta mawlana faonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireena

Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. It will have the good it gains, and it will be accountable for the ill it commits. Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make a mistake...

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَلَنُحۡيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةٗ طَيِّبَةٗۖ وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

Man AAamila salihan min thakarin aw ontha wahuwa muminun falanuhyiyannahu hayatan tayyibatan walanajziyannahum ajrahum biahsani ma kanoo yaAAmaloona

Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while a believer—we will surely grant them a good life, and We will surely give them their reward according to the best of what they used to do.

الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ وَفِي كُلٍّ خَيْرٌ

Al-muʾminu l-qawiyyu khayrun wa aḥabbu ilā llāhi mina l-muʾmini ḍ-ḍaʿīf wa fī kullin khayr

The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is good in both.

عَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ لَهُ خَيْرٌ، وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ

ʿAjaban li-amri l-muʾmini, inna amrahu kullahu lahu khayr, wa laysa dhālika li-aḥadin illā lil-muʾmin. In aṣābat-hu sarraʾu shakara fa-kāna khayran lah, wa in aṣābat-hu ḍarraʾu ṣabara fa-kāna khayran lah.

Amazing is the affair of the believer—for every matter of his is good, and this is for no one except the believer. If something delightful befalls him he is grateful and it is good for him; if something harmful strikes him he is patient and it is good for him.

اللّهُـمَّ عافِـني في بَدَنـي ، اللّهُـمَّ عافِـني في سَمْـعي ، اللّهُـمَّ عافِـني في بَصَـري ، لا إلهَ إلاّ أَنْـتَ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka al-ʿafwa wal-ʿāfiyata fid-dunyā wal-ākhirah...

O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter...

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ، وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazan, wal-ʿajzi wal-kasal, wal-jubni wal-bukhl, wa ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijāl

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by people.

((اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُــــلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ القُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلاَءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي)).

Allāhumma innī 'abduka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatika, nāṣiyatī biyadik, māḍin fiyya ḥukmuk, 'adlun fiyya qaḍā'uk. As'aluka bikulli ismin huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsak, aw anzaltahu fī kitābik, aw 'allamtahu aḥadan min khalqik, aw istatharta bihi fī 'ilmi l-ghaybi 'indak, an taj'ala l-Qur'āna rabī'a qalbī, wa nūra ṣadrī, wa jalā'a ḥuznī, wa dhahāba hammī.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is ever executed and Your decree is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You... to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sorrow and the departure of my anxiety.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka ʿilman nāfiʿan wa rizqan ṭayyiban wa ʿamalan mutaqabbalan

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and deeds that are accepted.

مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

Man salaka ṭarīqan yaltamisu fīhi ʿilman sahhala llāhu lahu bihi ṭarīqan ilā l-jannah

Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for them a path to Paradise.

أَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيۡلِ سَاجِدٗا وَقَآئِمٗا يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُواْ رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهِۦۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

Amman huwa qanitun anaa allayli sajidan waqaiman yahtharu alakhirata wayarjoo rahmata rabbihi qul hal yastawee allatheena yaAAlamoona waallatheena la yaAAlamoona innama yatathakkaru oloo alalbabi

Are those who know equal to those who do not know? Only those who possess insight remember.

إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى

Innamā al-aʿmālu bin-niyyāt wa innamā likulli imriʾin mā nawā

Actions are only by intentions, and each person will have only what they intended.

فَبِمَا رَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ ٱلۡقَلۡبِ لَٱنفَضُّواْ مِنۡ حَوۡلِكَۖ فَٱعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ وَشَاوِرۡهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمۡتَ فَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلِينَ

Fabima rahmatin mina Allahi linta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleetha alqalbi lainfaddoo min hawlika faoAAfu AAanhum waistaghfir lahum washawirhum fee alamri faitha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahi inna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileena

So by mercy from Allah, you were gentle with them. If you had been harsh or hard-hearted they would have dispersed from around you. So pardon them, seek forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter. When you resolve, then rely upon Allah.

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَيُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُۚ لَا تَأۡخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٞ وَلَا نَوۡمٞۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يَشۡفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِۦۚ يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرۡسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفۡظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيُّ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu la takhuthuhu sinatun wala nawmun lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi man tha allathee yashfaAAu AAindahu illa biithnihi yaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wala yuheetoona bishayin min AAilmihi illa bima shaa wasiAAa kursiyyuhu alssamawati waalarda wala yaooduhu hifthuhuma wahuwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheemu

Allah! There is no god except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.

(بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَاَ حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ).

Bismillāhi, tawakkaltu 'ala llāhi, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāh.

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power nor might except with Allah.

((أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ، وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّياطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ)).

Aʿūdhu bikalimāti llāhi t-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created.

لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَتَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ، تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا

Law annakum tatawakkalūna ʿalā llāhi ḥaqqa tawakkulihī la-razaqakum kamā yarzuqu ṭ-ṭayra, taghdū khimāṣan wa tarūḥu biṭānan.

If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds: they leave hungry in the morning and return with bellies full.

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرٗا

Inna maAAa alAAusri yusran

Indeed, with hardship comes ease.

((بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للَّهِ ﴿سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ﴾، ((الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي؛ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ)).

Allāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar. Subḥāna alladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā...

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. Glory is to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could not have done it ourselves...

۞ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشۡكَوٰةٖ فِيهَا مِصۡبَاحٌۖ ٱلۡمِصۡبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوۡكَبٞ دُرِّيّٞ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٖ مُّبَٰرَكَةٖ زَيۡتُونَةٖ لَّا شَرۡقِيَّةٖ وَلَا غَرۡبِيَّةٖ يَكَادُ زَيۡتُهَا يُضِيٓءُ وَلَوۡ لَمۡ تَمۡسَسۡهُ نَارٞۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٖۚ يَهۡدِي ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَيَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَ لِلنَّاسِۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ

Allahu nooru alssamawati waalardi mathalu noorihi kamishkatin feeha misbahun almisbahu fee zujajatin alzzujajatu kaannaha kawkabun durriyyun yooqadu min shajaratin mubarakatin zaytoonatin la sharqiyyatin wala gharbiyyatin yakadu zaytuha yudeeo walaw lam tamsashu narun noorun AAala noorin yahdee Allahu linoorihi man yashao wayadribu Allahu alamthala lilnnasi waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp—the lamp is within glass. The glass is as if it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed olive tree that is neither of the east nor west.

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا

Fainna maAAa alAAusri yusran

For indeed, with hardship comes ease.

الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمٰنُ، ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ

Ar-rāḥimūna yarḥamuhumu r-Raḥmān, irḥamū man fī l-arḍi yarḥamkum man fī s-samāʾ

The merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on earth and the One above the heavens will be merciful to you.

أَمْسَيْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الإسْلاَمِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الإِخْلاَصِ، وَعَلَى دِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفاً مُسْلِماً وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ المُشْرِكِينَ.

Amsaynā 'alā fiṭrati l-islāmi, wa 'alā kalimati l-ikhlāṣi, wa 'alā dīni nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ṣallā llāhu 'alayhi wa sallam, wa 'alā millati abīnā Ibrāhīma ḥanīfan musliman wa mā kāna mina l-mushrikīn.

We have entered the evening upon the natural faith of Islam, upon the word of sincere devotion, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and upon the way of our father Ibrahim—inclining to truth, a Muslim, and never among those who associate partners with Allah.

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena

All praise is for Allah—Lord of the worlds.

لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ

Lā yuʾminu aḥadukum ḥattā yuḥibba li-akhīhi mā yuḥibbu linafsih

None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِخۡوَةٞ فَأَصۡلِحُواْ بَيۡنَ أَخَوَيۡكُمۡۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

Innama almuminoona ikhwatun faaslihoo bayna akhawaykum waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum turhamoona

The believers are but brothers, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah so you may be shown mercy.

خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي

Khayrukum khayrukum li-ahlīhi, wa anā khayrukum li-ahlī.

The best of you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best among you to my family.

مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ

Man kāna yuʾminu billāhi wal-yawmi l-ākhir falyaqul khayran aw liyasmut

Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak goodness or remain silent.

(يَبْدَأُ بِرِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى) ، وَيَقُولُ: ((أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ العَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ)) [بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ] [وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ] ((اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ)).

A'ūdhu billāhi l-'aẓīmi wa bi-wajhihi l-karīmi wa sulṭānihi l-qadīmi min ash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Allāhumma iftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik.

I seek refuge in Allah the Magnificent, in His Noble Face, and in His eternal authority from Shaytan the accursed. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

(أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ..).

Ashhadu an lā ilāha illa llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan 'abduhu wa rasūluh. Allāhumma j'alnī mina t-tawwābīn waj'alnī mina l-mutaṭahhirīn.

I bear witness there is no deity except Allah alone with no partner, and I bear witness Muhammad is His servant and messenger. O Allah, make me among those who constantly repent and those who purify themselves.

(يَبْدَأُ بِرِجْلِهِ الْيُمْنَى) ، وَيَقُولُ: ((أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ العَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ)) [بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ] [وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ] ((اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ)).

A'ūdhu billāhi l-'aẓīmi wa bi-wajhihi l-karīmi wa sulṭānihi l-qadīmi min ash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Allāhumma iftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik.

I seek refuge in Allah the Magnificent, in His Noble Face, and in His eternal authority from Shaytan the accursed. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ

Man kāna yuʾminu billāhi wal-yawmi l-ākhir falyaqul khayran aw liyasmut

Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak goodness or remain silent.

فَبِمَا رَحۡمَةٖ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ ٱلۡقَلۡبِ لَٱنفَضُّواْ مِنۡ حَوۡلِكَۖ فَٱعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ وَشَاوِرۡهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمۡتَ فَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلِينَ

Fabima rahmatin mina Allahi linta lahum walaw kunta faththan ghaleetha alqalbi lainfaddoo min hawlika faoAAfu AAanhum waistaghfir lahum washawirhum fee alamri faitha AAazamta fatawakkal AAala Allahi inna Allaha yuhibbu almutawakkileena

So by mercy from Allah, you were gentle with them. If you had been harsh or hard-hearted they would have dispersed from around you. So pardon them, seek forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter. When you resolve, then rely upon Allah.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱسۡتَعِينُواْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo istaAAeenoo bialssabri waalssalati inna Allaha maAAa alssabireena

O believers, seek strength through patience and prayer. Certainly Allah is with those who are patient.
